After 12 years of fun and friendly wedding fayres, the time has come to say a fond farewell to the worldof weddings.
We are very proud of what Bridefaure has meant to wedding vendors, venues and our most important people, the Brides and Grooms to be.
It’s mostly been a wonderful experience with a few glitches, mostly due to a very few serial liars that blight the wedding business. Some of these are wedding venues that promise the earth and then change the offer, some ore idiot vendors who chaim 25 years DJ experience or a million followers of facebook but most wedding vendors dont need to do this because a 10 minute chat with them will tell you all you need to know, they know their trade and skills and it shines through without the bullshit.
Please remember the golden rules...
The cheapest is NEVER the best, the most expensive is rarely the best. - When chatting to a venue manager or a supplier about what they will do or have done, The truth is usually simple and short, bullshit usually drags on and on. - If something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. nd before you book, always spring this question. “If you have an accident the day before my wedding. what will happen?” If the answer takes a lot of thinking about and sounds made up, walk away. Good “attendee” vendors like cars, photographers, DJ’s etc will have a plan, a colleague or competitor who will step in or find someone for you.
Planning your wedding should be fun, find professionals you can work with, listen to their advice andrelax.
Finally - thank you, thank you to the hundreds of lovely vendors I’ve come to respect and admire, thank you to the THOUSANDS of couples, especially those we see AFTER the wedding who come back to tell us about it and my biggest Thanks to Claire on the door and Trevor on the Teas.
